What PokiePundit is
PokiePundit is an information site for Australian adults who play pokies or have a punt. We explain how the games and bets work, show what they cost with calculators you can check yourself, and say plainly when an offer is bad for players. We do not take bets or run any gambling service.
Why we built it
Most gambling sites shout about bonuses and rank casinos with scores nobody can check. We think players deserve the numbers instead: what a session of pokies costs on average, what a trifecta box costs before you bet it, what a casino's withdrawal limits really are, and what the law says. Our tagline is the brief: pokies and punts, by the numbers.
How we work
- Facts from official sources. Laws come from legislation and regulators, racing rules from the racing bodies and the TAB, casino facts from each casino's own terms. Every page lists its sources and the date we last checked them.
- The maths, shown. Every calculator explains its formula and gives a worked example.
- No made-up tests. If we have not tested a casino, we say so.
- Honest money. We earn commission from partner links, and we say so on every page that has them. See our affiliate disclosure.
